... and all through the house, binders and folders and post-its were scattered,
scaring the mouse.
This teacher was scurrying, trying to think, think, think... What else do I need? Oh, more sleep would be nice. But, alas, the time has come, when bags must be packed and checklists created.
Last minute details will soon come together. Lesson plans revamped, new prezis in progress, classroom procedures and expectations prepared. Looking forward to the students and all that the year will entail as we journey together.
Stop. Just. Breathe. Deep breaths. (It's hard to even finish a complete sentence when your mind is going a hundred miles a minute.)
As a new year begins, I pray that Christ would be at the center of everything that I do. They say that the light shines brightest in the darkest areas, so I pray that my light will not be hidden. There is hope for the future.
Matthew 5:16
"In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven."
Colossians 3:17 "And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him."
Amen
