It is crazy to think that we have been married for over a year now... Wow!
We're no longer "newlyweds," but we understand and appreciate each other a whole lot more now... (and yet we still have so much to learn)!
The world did not end on May 21 like one guy thought it would... now it's supposed to be October 21, 2011. We're looking forward to Christ's return, but we know He will come when we least expect it!
Gus graduated from college in May and we're entering the professional workfield as young adults. This is a great stage of life and we're working through all the details.
More later. Adios.

8 months of Marriage...
I LOVE YOU means a lot more now than when we first knew each other!
Our questions change as we get to know each other better, too:
How are you today? ... What did you have to do at work today?
What do you want to do? ... Should we go for a walk or watch a movie?
What's Alpha serving for dinner? ... What's on the menu or what leftovers are in the fridge?
Who's car should we take? ... Who's car gets better gas mileage right now?
Is it too early to get Life Insurance?

Detroit Auto Show!
Today I have been married to my best friend for 7 months and 10 days... pretty special, huh? Well, now I'm experiencing a family tradition of going to a yearly car show with them...
We had an adventurous evening exploring the Marriot and surrounding buildings last night. Even riding a glass elevator to get to the 72nd floor to have some cokes and lemonade in a fancy lounge area where others were all dressed up was a first for us! This Courtyard Marriot is pretty impressive with it's fancy workout area, swimming pool, (snow-covered) tennis courts on the roof of the building, it just goes on and on...

Oh, by the way, this is a random shot from New Year's :-)
Well, we're looking forward to another great day! Praise the LORD for all of His blessings!!
